Aquí adjunto el último comunicado de la Organización para los coordinadores de grupo. Se trata del horario que seguiremos el próximo lunes, perfectamente detallado.

Dear Team Coordinators!

With only a few days left until the 3rd Univ Case Competition, Christoph and I wanted to send you a quick reminder for the coming week.

Please REMEMBER:

1. Our meeting on MONDAY: Introductory Session, hand-out of cases, Q&A. The meeting is From 15:30 to 16:30 at the Piazza di Sant’Apollinare 49.

Here you will be assigned a Team Name, a Room and you will be informed about your presentation times for Tuesday. You will also receive your cases here so that the team work can start right away!

2. Starting at 12:00 on TUESDAY at the Piazza di Sant’Apollinare 49, you will be able to continue your team work in your rooms.

3. LUNCH will be around 13:30 in the cafeteria at the Piazza di Sant’Apollinare 49.

4. The dress code for the presentations on Tuesday is BUSINESS ELEGANT (my personal tip: make sure you greet all members of the jury and SHAKE THEIR HANDS when you enter the presentation room).

5. The presentation language is ENGLISH. During your team workshops you may obviously speak in the language of your preference.

We wish you all the best for the Case Competition. Make sure you make the most out of the experience. We have all had a great time organizing the case competition for you this year and really hope you have a great time in Rome.

Mensaje de los organizadores de la fase final

What is the UNIV Case Competition?
The UNIV Case Competition is an activity intended to provide a practical business-oriented approach to the UNIV Forum. At the beginning of the competition all teams receive the same business case from an internationally renowned Business School, either IESE or Harvard. Working in teams, participants read, analyze and discuss the case, in order to come up with a solid recommendation which will have to combine profitability, competitiveness, marketing, strategy and ethics. Every team then presents their solution in front of a jury. With the Univ Case Competition participants will learn how to think globally, act strategically and learn about decision making tools that they will use over the course of their entire life.
For more information please visit our website.

Internationality
Organizing the event for the UNIV participants the past two years has been great fun. We’re amazed at how many different nationalities have been present in the competition until now. We’ve had people from England, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Costa Rica, Poland, Spain, Italy, Portugal and Finland. Additionally, this year we have enquiries from Ecuador and South Africa. This is definitely one of the most international events you can get.

Content of the 3rd UNIV Case Competition
After asking ourselves what topic to chose for this year’s case competition we came across a very new and challenging topic which we’re sure most of you have already experienced and thoroughly discussed. The topic for this year is going to be *Web 2.0 and Social Media. Social Media has revolutionized the way people communicate with one another and promises tremendous advantages for companies, organizations and individuals who seize the moment, discover the potential it has and consider its ethical implications. Talking about Web 2.0 and Social Media at the UNIV Forum this year is the best and most awesome way for you to learn about how Web 2.0 and Social Media can help you, your friends, your organization, your company, today.

Now, we can’t tell you all too much about the case, but we can tell you that we’re going to be posting videos, pictures and all sorts of content on our Facebook site so that you can get into the mood for Web 2.0 and Social Media. So make sure you stay posted and check it out.
